1. 100% Offline Voice Processing
Our app uses advanced On-Device Artificial Intelligence to recognize magical words (like animal names). Crucially:
- All voice recognition happens strictly on your smartphone or tablet.
- No audio data is ever recorded or sent to the cloud.
- The app does not require an internet connection for its core magical features.
2. COPPA and GDPR-K Compliance
Hokus Pokus Sandbox is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international regulations like GDPR-K.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, or location data.
- There are no social media integrations.
- There is no "behavioral tracking" or profiling of your child.
3. No Advertisements
To ensure a focused and safe experience for toddlers, the app contains zero third-party advertisements. Your child will never be exposed to external marketing or distracted by banners while playing.
4. Parental Controls & Gates
All sensitive areas of the app, including settings, profile management, and the optional magic shop, are protected by a Parental Gate. This requires solving a challenge that only an adult can complete, ensuring children cannot make accidental purchases or change settings without permission.
5. Local Storage Only
Any settings you change, profiles you create, or custom words you record in the "Voice Studio" are stored exclusively on your device. We use a local database (Hive) that remains sandboxed within the app's private storage area.
